Jeffrey C. Bogert

Jeffrey C. Bogert is an experienced lawyer known for his dedication to his clients. Born in Massachusetts in a military family, he grew up in Kansas, Virginia and finally, California. He developed a passion for law and politics at an early age. His strong belief in the power of justice and the need to advocate for the rights of others led him to pursue a career in law.
After completing his undergraduate studies in Political Science at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Jeffrey earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific/McGeorge School of Law In Sacramento. During his time in law school, he interned in the California Capitol and focused his studies in courtroom advocacy.
Immediately after passing the bar exam in 1987, Jeffrey began his career as an associate at Haight Brown and Bonesteel. Working under seasoned attorneys; he gained hands-on experience in civil litigation. His associate work focused on representing attorneys charged breaches of professional negligence and/or responsibility.
By 1994, given his passion for advocating for justice, Jeffrey decided to focus his practice on serious personal injury cases. Beginning in 2005, he further focused on Mass Torts, handling pharmaceutical cases against Proctor and Gamble, Merck, DuPuy, Johnson & Johnson, and Novartis, including participating in three bellwether trials. Since 1994, he has tried 37 cases to jury verdict in state and/or federal court.
Jeff is licensed to practice in California and has been admitted to practice in Federal Court (through MDL admission or pro hac vice) in Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and the District of Columbia. He has presented on various subjects at legal conferences, such as TheWestern Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Tamara and their Italian Mastiff, Charlie. They are avid travelers, using their vacations as an opportunity to explore different cultures and gain a deeper understanding of global legal systems.
